An exciting and innovative tool for women recovering from Breast Cancer Surgery.

Miranda Esmonde-White, creator of Classical Stretch and herself a breast cancer survivor, developed this workout in order to help her fellow survivors regain the mobility in their arm after surgery. Few people are aware that the surgery results in lack of movement and extreme pain in the arm. It can also potentially lead to a serious condition called lymphedema (swelling in the arm). The best way to relieve the pain and regain mobility is to exercise the arm. There is also evidence that exercise may help to prevent the future onset of lymphedema.

Set to a soft classical soundtrack and filmed in the gardens and beaches of the Iberostar Resorts in the Riviera Maya, this DVD will guide you through a series of gentle stretch exercises and is divided into four sections:

  • Getting Started: How to begin your rehabilitation journey.
  • Rehabilitation Exercises: 15 minutes of rehabilitation exercises. Begin exercising as soon as your physician gives you permission.
  • Stress Release: A gentle 15-minute Classical Stretch routine aimed at relieving stress.
  • Miranda’s Story
